Character signature

We had to choose a fictional character and represent his personality through his hand signature. The objectives were to transcribe a precise intention into a typographic form as well as to achieve a balanced calligraphic composition.

Typo.s

After having defined two character traits that corresponded best to us, we had to build a path of typographical experiments after having carried out a semantic field and identified notions and ideas. Finally, to design and create an alphabet.

Monogramme

Based on a historical calligraphic structure, create a monogram of our personal initials. We were encouraged to deviate from the historic style and reclaim it in our personal style. This subject aims to convey the method of character drawing, from the choice of tool to the method of digitization.
